There aren’t enough days like today—not nearly. So when days like today happen there’s not much else to do except live them while you can and try remember every moment.

Because days where you meet a stranger at Harmon’s and hug and cry over Orlando next to the tortillas don’t happen every day.

Days where you and a Soulmate™ get up and drive to an island together don’t happen every day.

Days where you drink five bottles Mike’s black cherry lemonade by yourself, get attacked by a million bugs, go on a hike, and have not one but two picnics.

Days where you take twenty-thousand steps and listen to the same Carly Rae Jespon song four times (because why the hell not?)

Days like today don’t happen every day. And neither will days like tomorrow, or the day after that, or the day after that. Because no day is the same, and they never will be, and isn’t that what’s most beautiful about them?
